“I'm a lifelong allergy sufferer who built a career in beauty and wellness watching every category evolve, except allergies. It was all drugs, side effects and band-aids. I knew the microbiome science existed to do better, so I assembled a team to prove it.”
With a background in formulation science, ingredient technology, and sustainability, Wizard founder Lorne Lucree has helped create award-winning products for some of beauty's most influential brands, including Clinique, Tatcha, L'Oréal, R+Co, IGK, and ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr.
But Wizard Wellness allergy care didn't start in a lab, it started at home. Between managing his own lifelong allergies, chasing after two curious daughters and a goldendoodle who seems to attract pollen on command, Lorne grew frustrated with a category stuck in drugs, side effects and short-term fixes.
